Camel wrestling

The western coast of Anatolia has become the beating heart of camel wresting events. As a local cultural celebration, this phenomenon has been subject to  anthropological and heritage related research. 

Devrim Ertürk has an interest in the culture of camel dealing and wrestling and wrote a book about this topic, combining different disciplines such as sociology, anthropology, history and folklore.
